At Example Junior we are a family, where everyone cares and shares.
Everyday we all try to be tolerant, fair and understanding. We work
together as equals, respecting one another. We always do our very best,
and are happy every day.The school was built in 1952 on the site of 'The Walsall Colliery.' Originally it was two schools with one head, then after 12 months a second head was appointed. In 1970 changing the use of a cloakroom space in the Infant School created a nursery. 1999 brought the two schools back together again.

General notes:
Please remember to respect the parking restrictions around the school entrance. Could parents also please remember to book an appointment at the front office if they wish to see either the class teacher or Mr. Griffiths? It causes great inconvenience to staff if they are approached at 5 to 9 being asked for a 'couple of minutes' when they are legally obliged to be taking the register and looking after your children in loco parentis.
Full term dates for 2006-7 are available.
